Why are my Southsea Tennis Chair backs so baggy?

Hello Claire
Have got the chairs out today as I am back and it is sunny....they look great but is the fabric on the back of the chairs supposed to be so great - they are not taut - rather the contract as if there is just too much fabric?? There seems to be too much loose material on the backs which means your shoulders get stuck into by the uprights - they are therefore not at all comfortable.

The backs of the Southsea Tennis chairs are removed for boxing. There is a right way up for the backs to go but also, please note that the fabrics are wound around the wooden back pieces. Also it the chair needs to be half closed in order to fix the fabric on. When the chair is then re-opened, the back will be nice and tight.
Panic over....gardeners had put the backs together the wrong way and all is sorted. They are great and comfortable. Huge thanks
